Absolutely fantastic. Charming chateaux hidden in the park. Very silent, relaxing atmosphere. exactly what we were needed in order to explore Amboise and other castles.. The only inconvenient parts are 1. Wi-fi guaranteed only at reception. Signal in the room was very week. 2. Hotel does not provide any food at all except breakfast, and does not let to have... More

We decided to make a last minute trip to the Loire Valley and needed a Saturday night stay, preferably in a chateau or something charming. Of course the majority of the chateaux were fully booked in advance. We booked the last room at another chateau through venere.com on Friday night, but when I called to reconfirm Saturday morning they had... More

The Loire Valley is stunning, and this hotel is a good base for exploring it. We stayed for a night and really enjoyed it - we were just in a standard room, but it was spacious and comfy. You definitely need a car, as there is no restaurant on site, but Montrichard is just 5 mins drive and has a... More

Loire Valley, so you're probably there to see the chateauxs. This is certainly part of the experience. A real chateaux, real rooms with authentic furniture, a peace and quiet rarely found elsewhere, clean, good service and near all the sights. A gem! More

We stayed there as a base for exploring the Loire valley. The chateau had a decent sized room and bathroom. Friendly staff. The bed was a four poster but a bit small for me (I'm only 5 feet 11) but accommodation quite good on the whole. No evening meals mean a trip into Amboise or Montrichard every day. A car... More

The chateau is beautiful. We arrived around 4 pm and found the door locked. However, it was soon opened and the girl on reception was pleasant and acknowledged that we had booked a ground floor room (my husband is partially disabled). However, she was less than helpful when asked to recommend restaurants in the nearest town. She didn't know of... More

this chateau has been modified to contain a number of rooms and suites. When you enter the long drivewasay, you feel like you have gone back in time. Then you see the Chateau, sitting proudly. The lobby and rooms are period and make you feel that this is how they lived in the day. The room was comfortable. The ensuite... More

Just back from a 4 day / 3 night trip and felt I had to share. 1st: FOOD. This place only serves breakfast (€13 per person per day); therefore, despite advertising itself as being a HOTEL it is only a B+B. Upon arrival at the chateau we had to pay for a taxi to take us to the local SuperU... More

We stayed three nights and my wife did not want to leave. The hotel is centrally located in Loire Valley which makes it ideal for exploring the historic Chateau. The room was large with 14 foot beamed ceiling. It was just like the picture I seen on the web so I was not diappointed. The view of the trees was... More
