Good property, huge dining areas. while getting rooms was a problem, when we landed we almost had the place to ourselves. This in turn led to pressure put on us by the staff to order dinner early Food is good and staff of room service is attentive

Nothing much great to write about but this hotel. It is definitely a place to break your journey in midst of the golden triangle circuit. You can visit Abhaneri (famous Chand Baori Step Well) which is just half an hour drive from this place. Do not expect true hospitality with cultured professionalism here. However, rooms are large, airy and comfortable.... More

The hotel was last 'lakeside' in monsoon floods three years ago. The foundation stone in the foyer says "This motel was opened in 1994...", nothing about royalty or heritage! The building is impressive however with acres of marble floor, good dining facilities and a well stocked craft shop. Outside the swimming pool was being rebuilt and the water features in... More

There used to be a lake (but it’s now a wallow), the sheer size and design suggests this building may have been a palace, but it never could be misinterpreted as a resort and its best days are well behind it. Tiny functional rooms with balconys, instant hot water in the shower, with a huge dining room and reception area... More

I spent the 31 Dec 2011 and 1 Jan 2012 at the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised at this cosy place and enjoyed every moment of the new year celebrations there. It was a small but warm gathering of guests from New Delhi, Mumbai and Jaipur. The hotel staff were very helpful and so were the people I met at... More

We stayed here for two nights in December and the hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious with beautiful indian furniture. There were nice gardens, open patios, and the restaurant was tasty as the vegetables came straight from the garden. It was unusually cold so it limited our activities, but it would be wonderful in the spring or summer... More

Booked a stay at the Umaid Lake Palace as was told by the travelguru site that it is 65 kms from Jaipur... As it turned out, this so called LAKE PALACE is 100 kms from Jaipur in the middle of nowhere - it costs in excess of Rs.1200/- to get to there from the airport and they do not provide... More
