Having now stayed in two other KDTC hotels I had a fair idea what to expect. The only question was would this one outperform the previous two or sink to a new low?
If location is all important, then whoever chose the location for this one needs help. Located off the main road, the hotel is down a badly rutted side road. After the rice-processing factory, the very pungent bone-processing plant, the metal, bricks, granite and cement works and shortly past the more pungent rubbish tip, there, on the right is the KDTC Tamarind Easy Hotel, Quite how this place hopes than anyone will drive up for lunch in their family restaurant defies belief.
Whilst it lacks the cracked wall and damp motif that the previous two KDTC hotels shared, it does have the unstaffed reception desk, the general run-down atmosphere of a KDTC hotel.
