we booked this hotel through Hurtigruten line for an overnight at the end of our journey. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable allowing for a peaceful nights sleep. Breakfast was a wonderful wide selection of food items to please anyone including yogurt parfait, fritatta, freshly prepared health drink and numerous selection of items! we enjoyed our stay in Kirkenes!

We stayed for two nights at the Rica Artic which is next to the main square in Kirkenes which is beneficial in winter as the snow and ice is slippery. Good location. Staff were ok. No kettle in the room.

A good place to stay if flying in and catching the Hurtigruten boat the next day. Easy transfers by airport bus to the front door of the hotel, and onwards to the boat terminal. Friendly staff, reasonable breakfast. We found the room far too warm and slept with the window open even though it was freezing outside.
