Excellent view of the fjord from the room. Saw the Northern Lights just outside the hotel, thanks to the very helpful staff at reception who called to inform us. Breakfast was great too. The only downside was the dinner - small portions (even by Scandinavian standards) and limited options.

Late arrival in a very cold winter night, a clean and modern room with good heating, that's all you need. Hotel is very functional not so cosy..., stunning looks over the Fjord.

Well located, clean, silent. The hotel has a restaurant with few dishes, but quality food. Staff were nice and arranged us a bus tour to chase the northern lights. This modern hotel on the Fjord has stunning views and nice facilities. Rooms are simple but comfortable, clean and bright with good lighting. Kirkenes is a great starting point to see the Northern Lights and the Thon Hotel is the best place to stay in town. Rooms are clean and modern and service is suitably matter of fact. Breakfast buffet is adequate.

A very good hotel. Our bookings were handled with the minimum of trouble. Nice position although we were only overnighting. Spent a night here waiting for the Hurtengruten ship. Everything excellent and good breakfast. Rooms well situated if you want to look for the Aura.
