An excellent, accessible hotel, well placed for visiting Franeker whose centre, with its wonderful 18th century planetarium, is about ten minutes' walk away. Also ideally placed for visiting by car the nearby towns of Leeuwarden and Harlingen. The hotel was just average, typical for a small town, the front desk staff doubled in the restaurant as the front desk was basically in the restaurant. The room was clean, no real issues there. The whole hotel was a bit run down, but for the money it was ok. What amazed us was the food, we ordered room service... More
