Travelled with a group on a coach trip. After reading some of the reviews before we set off I was rather concerned what the hotel would be like. Didn't need to worry - it was great. Excellent twin bedded room (if other people have a problem why didn't they speak with reception?) Nothing was too much trouble for any of... More

Stayed at this hotel as a group, for 3 days, the staff were lovely, very helpful, the hotel felt warm and friendly, the food was very good, especially as a friend is a vegetarian and she didn't get palmed off with the usual tired old options, it was well presented and hot. It is a nice town, although we didn't... More

We thought it was a safe bet to book a Best Western hotel however the rooms were tired and need renovating. The hallways all stank of cigarette smoke and there were numerous stairways to pull your luggage up and down. Small archaic television and no tea/coffee facilities in room - had to pay at reception for a cuppa. Toilet space... More

The hotel is in the city centre, walking distance to the main attraction – The Underground Christmas market. For two nights, it was a good stay, and breakfast had both hot and cold food. Another plus: the bathroom for our room was spacious and had a bathtub (but no cosmetic mirror). The list of minuses is a bit longer: -... More

Location is excellent for christmas markets.Hotel staff very attentive and friendly. The rooms are basic but very clean. Meals are plentiful with a choice of main course and vegetarian options always available with fresh salads and vegetables. More

Location under a castle is perfect, very close....even to a church. The hotel is a bit old styled, my first impresion was that it is preferably used by elderly. We got room no. 214 - approached it through labyrinth of narrow corridors - was of standard size. Very calm, vith church view - through dirty windows.Double bed meant 2 connected... More

We got quite a good 'inc-breakfast' deal and, overall, had a reasonable stay. Our room was one of a handful of motel-style rooms with an outside corridor, rather than in the main building. One advantage of these rooms was that they had aircon, which I suspect the standard rooms wouldn't have. The only bad side to this was that the... More

We stayed at this hotel as our base for the singing concerts our choir were performing in that part of the Netherlands. Arriving at 9pm we were greated by attentive staff and guided to a lavish buffet specially laid on to cope with our late arrival. During our 5 day half board stay the food was excellent. The rooms we... More

Hotel was pre-booked by tour company as part of a winter break therefore did not have a say in the double room allocated to us BUT AVOID rooms 222/223/224 at all costs - the ceilings were low and t.v. was an old and I do mean OLD portable (but it was colour and did have a remote) the cramped toilet/bathroom...
