My family had a blast on Vlieland, and I think I chose the right hotel. They picked up your bags at the ferry and took them to the hotel. The hotel was right on the beach, perfect location for us. The hotel was clean and well kept, but there were no refridgerators or ice makers, something we Americans are used to, so I had to go to the restaurant to get ice. There were also no air conditioners, but it wasn't too hot in the room. The front desk staff did a good job, and the food in the restaurant was very good, they were professional and courteous. This is a very nice beach hotel on the island, I recommend staying there while on the island. The beach was very nice, but be aware that they do go topless, another thing most Americans are not use to. more
