We were moved here from the Cosmopolitan, what a difference, so glad we were moved here. The staff were really friendly and the food choice was good. The animation team worked very hard to keep people entertained. The only downside to the resort is the very busy road outside the hotel. Quite dangerous for the less nimble and young children.... more

I don't know know what the people putting bad reviews want from a holiday, this was a great place to stay. Located right on the beach, plenty sunbeds, the food in the restaurant was brilliant, not one bad meal in our fortnights stay. avra beach is a good place to unwind,loud and packed around the pool during the day,more sedate at night.true its on the main road and familys will find it difficult to cross over but its the main drag so its going to be busy.the reception was plain,but ok, they just give you the room number and point in the general... more

I thought I should highlight my concerns with respect to the above hotel. It comes highly recommended in the brochure and even on the internet but, heavens, it is actually shocking. Apart from being dirty and noisy, the staff were very rude to us. They actually asked to hold our passports during our stay and expected us to wear hospital... more
