We recently spent a week at the Amathus beach hotel.
Strong points of the hotel are :
- very friendly and helpful personnel (always !)
- good food for breakfast and dinner
- general dinning place outside at 10th floor was fantastic - great views
- close to Rhodes town, 10 min with bus - bus stop right in front...

We recenlty spent a week at the Amathus Beach with a couple of friends on a bed and breakfast basis (this being our fourth visit to Ixia). Excellent accommodation, superb breakfast with unlimited choice to suit everyone and ideally situated for Rhodes Town and onwards to the rest of the island.

We stayed at this hotel for a week. The swimmongpool area was great. You had 4 different poolareas. One just outside the spa was one with fresh springwater. We only had breakfast at the hotel, but we had lunch by the poo a few times. Very good.

Very good hotel situated ideally, overlooking the busy Aegean Sea between Rhodes and Turkey and either a good walk or short taxi journey into Rhodes Town.
Pools well maintained, and plenty of shade for those who need or prefer it.
Breakfast excellent. If you can't find something to your taste here there must be something wrong with you.

I have just returned from Rhodes, I have spent one week in this hotel with my family. Everything was so perfect, the hotel, the room, the restaurant, I have to say that I have never met such a friendly personnel in my life. Everybody is smiley, kind and so helpful.
