Excellent location and quality with good prices. Parking is available and very much needed in town. Assure they report the plate to avoid the police bill (it applies on most city places as soon as you get in with your car). The stuff where very nice. The restaurant is excellent, try Canelones de cerdo and Cochinillo crugiente, really one of... More

Lovely historic building in a nice setting. our combination of a 5-night card and Amigos membership gave us a good value stay including free parking and a welcome drink. The atmosphere in this parador is perfect and an excellent place to stay fro visiting the Roman remains - allow plenty of time! More

This parador, unlike those in the other cities we visited, was in our budget. Located in a beautiful old building with a pretty garden, common areas and bedrooms were very charming. It’s easy to find and very close to the historic area with parking right on site. We had a nice room that overlooked the pool and the garden. The parking... More

Drove from Caceres and landed in Merida on a super hot day. It was 40 degrees at 12 at night! Parador is comfortable with an adequate pool that is refreshing in the heat. We ate dinner in restaurant but felt disappointed in overall quality. Good wine but steak was grissly and poor. The main highlight of Merida is the Roman... More

This Parador was originally a convent so the building is lovely. The rooms are fairly dark as you would expect but the facilities are up to Parador standard. The Parador is in the centre of Merida, which has lots of Restaurants and the Roman ruins are well worth a visit. More

Having enjoyed meals in many paradors, we were disappointed in the quality of the cuisine in the Merida parador. However, the beauty of the building and its ideal location for exploring Merida were significant compensation. We had a 2 nights for the price of one Parador Amigo's offer which equted to €78 per night for the room... so it was... More

We went to Mérida for the theatre festival and stay at the Parador. The location was alright. The reception was quite friendly and the inside patio was charming. The room had a nice dimension but with a “heavy” old fashion decoration. The air conditioning doesn’t work properly (it was 36º Celsius). The breakfast was regular. The parking was expensive (€19/day)... More

This is definitely a great 4 star place with a spirit. You have a feeling that you are also stuck in the past. Room and bathroom are extremely big and furnished with this old charm, the same way as the whole hotel. Located in the centre, just a few minutes by foot from archaeological sites it is probably the best... More
