We stayed here for 3 nights in autumn of 2008, and were very satified with the Rambla Emerita. The location is is just outside of the city center but within walking distance of the major sights. The Good: Big room, quite nice, and cheap - 55e/night for twin single use incl breakfast. Breakfast was coffee, OJ, and a bit of toasted bread with choice of spread. Staff were helpful enough. The Bad: 2 things - the shower and the wi-fi. Wi-fi is not free, it is oursourced to a company "Aki Wifi/AWA hotspot". 6e for 2.5... More

I really liked our stay in Rambla Emerita Hotel. Very good location (near everything that matters, overlooking a small park), although difficult to park the car. Huge rooms, nice staff, good breakfast. I can only say good things about it. It was a good surprise.

Good convenient location in Merida: rail station, Roman sites and National Museum, town centre, shops, bars and restaurants all a short walk. Friendly reception.
