We travelled by taxi from the Jerez Railway Station and I am glad as would have found by myself. The side lane entrance was a little off putting at first but that is what most streets look like in Jerez that I saw anyway.

Decided to re-visit Jerez and checked out this small hotel...2 or 3 star rating with a private locked garage to the side, in valuable in the city. The receptionist, Michael spoke very good english and was most helpful and had lots of local knowledge. The rooms have air conditioning, slide the key fob into the holder by the door and...

Good location, short walk to the sights and the action.

Pretty dark, had a private terrace but was just a concrete hot box. No view, no plants, just wall to wall concrete.
Room and bathroom clean, good shower pressure.
No Sat TV
Breakfast average - toast, juices etc
Internet access...

Breakfast was fairly simple; a selection of juices, cereals, cakes and toast, plus tea/coffee. It was provided for free though, so no complaints. Parking for a...

I wonder how Albarizuela got 3 stars: maybe just because they have a fairly modern entrance, otherwise difficult to understand. We had booked a double room, and after staying in the magnificent Barcelo Jerez the night before we knew we would have to lower our expectations- but this was too poor. To start with, and worst of all, the room...
