We (I, My Wife, daughter) went there for day picnic on 31-dec-11. We were looking for a place far from Metro cries. What I liked > Cleanliness > Serenity > Hospitality was more of service then business. > Good Food > Simple villagers > Lot of recreation activities – Cricket, Badminton, Football, TT, Chess etc… > Pottery, tractor ride, bullock... A good option out of Delhi , 2 hrs drive ...but don't expect much ...the place is old rustic place with decent clean accomodation and staff and Host will serve you just well ....some good places to visit near by ...to just refresh your energy ..a above average but nothing great but afterall there are not too many options anyway... We were a gang of 25-30 people from the same office who had visited the property as a day out option. Everything about the trip was perfect starting from the beautiful weather, nice drive and good property. We started early in the morning from Delhi and took us all of 2 hrs to reach the place. Its not too far... More

We stayed over for a weekend in March 2011, having heard good things about the property from friends who had visited in the past. It was probably managed professionally then. It isn't anymore. The palace reeks of neglect and apathy. The staff are courteous and over-worked and double up as housekeeping, chefs, waiters and everything else. It is a good... More

The place is pretty far out if you are traveling from delhi and the roads are bad. The good thing is that the property is usually isolated so you get pretty much the whole fort to yourself. its ok for a weekend getaway and some of the antiques inside the place are really pretty. the rooms are pretty average though. this is a nice little getaway from delhi. mind you there is absolutely nothing in terms of places to visit nearby or any adventure activity. the only adventure maybe the bullock cart ride for the city slickers. Dont be mistaken by the term 'fort' its more like a fortified haveli. Food is average or can be disappointing but they try... More

it was a funtastic getaway from delhi. though you dont save yourself from the heat but, its the location next to a mango orchard. small pool. We were lucky tt no one else was staying there that time so it was like the small resort to ourselves. Food was made as per our liking. Staff was kind to serve tea... More

My wife and I stated at the Mud Fort in April 2006. I was expecting the Mud Fort to be located in the middle of no where but it lies on the outskirts of a busy village and there were people all around. Our room was grandly appointed and clean with attached shower/ toilet and air conditioning but in keeping... More
