I really enjoyed this hotel. My corner room was filled with old world charm, flooded with light from the large windows on two sides with a great view. Wonderful. Beautiful, quaint hotel right in the heart of old town. However, very quiet location. Many good restaurant choices nearby. Immaculately clean and decorated very smartly. Breakfast was delicious and the couple who run Schloss Schaenke are very nice and helpful. Wonderful choice. I highly recommend.

I spent three lovely nights at this small hotel/ BB. I arrived by train and was kindly picked up by hotel owner. It is quite a walk from the station up hilly streets and avenues.
