I would love to say that our honeymoon began wonderfully, however, thanks to the Stadt Hamburg, it really didn`t. We arrived, as planned, at 4am, following our wedding and reception, still in white wedding dress and dinner jacket, to be greeted by a stone faced concierge who seemed completely indifferent to us. As Relais Chateaux addicts we booked the Stadt Hambug as it was both on a German Island we wished to visit and in our 'bible' - the Relais Chateaux book.
