Impossible to get to WiFi internet, both up in the room and downstairs in the reception. My stay for one night was very nice. The reception staff was very nice and friendly, received a warm welcome. The rooms are functional and clean, not overly spacious but ok. Hotel Am Schloss is a very nice, clean and comfortable hotel. They have a very nice big breakfastbuffet! The hotel is located near a nice whitecoloured castle in Ahresburg. We loved the hotel, especially since it was right around the corner from the Schloss. We were shown to a really lovely corner room and were thrilled until we noticed no ashtray since we had specified smoking. We were then moved to a lesser room and not so thrilled. Rooms were clean, ample breakfast buffet, friendly personnell. A good place to stay when visiting Hamburg without staying in the city itself. Nothing special, but solid. You are not far away from the train station (a public bus may also take you there), and around the corner there is the beautiful castle.
