I stayed at the Hotel Sonne with my daughter & her boyfriend (early 20s) one night after flying into Frankfurt. Bad Wimpfen is a medieval gem, had the best meal of the trip in a small, ancient pub. “Quirky hotel in lovely town”

We stayed at the hotel for a night as we were travelling from our home to a holiday in southern Germany. We ended up in Bad Wimpfen on a busy Saturday evening, having tried several fully booked hotels in the Neckertal (including the Neckarblick) Hotel Sonne is in the Michelin touring guide for Germany - but not at the address they give!
