I write this from my room. Very large HIE. Clean and tidy. Next to Petrol station and McDonalds, a few minutes drive to Stansted airport. It's freezing outside and the room was cold when I arrived. I stayed here after being stranded at Stansted overnight when my flight was cancelled (hence I had no toiletries of my own). This is a fairly decent airport hotel. I arrived at Stansted Airport late at night and took the Holiday Inn bus. Although there were quite a few of us on the bus check-in was very quick. The room was small, clean with a good bathroom and was inexpensive. It was exactly what I wanted. more

booked non smoking room but was given a stinky smoking one, plumbing was way too noisy, hotel looks nice but hundred pounds for room like that-too much. more

This hotel is really convenient for flights from Stansted. The staff were very helpful and polite. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean although we did get woken up during the night by a thermostat (we think thats what it was) clicking on/off. bus runs to and from the airport every half hour, £2 per person. Hotel very clean with comfortable rooms, light breakfast included in room rate, very good location for the airport, the only negative I had with the hotel was the room temperature was set too high, although you could adjust it to your requirement the air conditioning to reach... more

Booked this hotel in order, primarily, to park the car whilst we went on holiday for a week. The (relatively little) extra money on top of a normal week's parking near the airport was great value for money as we had a mid morning flight and with two young children travelling +2hrs to the airport it would not have been... more

Stayed overnight after a late arrival at Stansted. Clean and comfortable; there's an efficient shuttle service to and from the airport (payable to the driver). Mind you, the taxi from the airport to the hotel is less than GBP 7. Perfect for an early morning flight. more
