Had the misfortune to be stay there whilst the remnants of a private party decided to end their evening in the only bar in the hotel. Have stayed three times at the Rockingham Forest Hotel whilst attending events at Rockingham Castle which is a mere 250 metres away. On arrival the Reception Desk were most welcoming and helpful but no luggage trolleys or porterage - an old service trolley was found and it did the job.

As others have said - don't be put off by the hotel's exterior.
This hotel has everything you need for a business stay - clean, free parking, free wifi, great food and bedrooms that have been refurbished to a high standard.
Loved the rain shower - a very nice touch.

A nice hotel, the room was one of the quietest I have ever stayed in and I had a great night sleep.
The only fault, the bathroom was a little "tired" and would benefit from the grouting having a good clean or renewed.
