Lovely modern hotel, with a welcoming reception. Lifts to all floors and nice bedrooms that are well appointed. Free wifi with a good selection of tv channels. hotel is interesting and feels like a museum. making afternoon waffles is a novelty for adults and children alike .tea coffee and fruit available all day but to buy an ice-cream cone down town costs £2.70 each!! hotel is central and close to large shopping centre.and across from bus station. museum and the boat Southern Actor explain all about whaling.... more

The rooms are large, well lit and extremely comfortable. The rooms on the front of the hotel do suffer from road noise, even with the double glazed windows and thick curtains.
