the view from the window worth it all. it's look like an old building. the room and bath are basic. the have diner to buy at the hotel. the food is ok no more.

Disappointed with this hotel, especially after reading reviews here. Pool, sauna, and spa all were unavailable; rooms very tiny and very, very basic. Breakfast was the porest quality of all our breakfasts, after traveling in Europe for 25 days. Instant coffee! Not brewed. All in all, substandard.

Ustedalen is a good, less expensive alternative to the plusher Geilo hotels. Hotel rooms and buildings are quite simple, but adequate and spacious. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. Twice to this hotel, warm friendly, excellent for children. good choice of food for both Breakfast and evening meals. Helpfull staff. Rooms a little small but heyho don't spend too much time in them anyway. Bar quite pricey and most people seem to buy from the supermarket and drink in rooms!
