I would recommend Rica for all who want to see the Northern Lights, the local Ice Hotel & North Norway, Easter is the best time I think but it fine during the summer as well.The staff at the Rica will give you very good help & advice. More

Nice and new hotel centrally located in Alta. Friendly staff, spacious and light rooms with minibar, wifi and satellite tv. Just spent 4 nights in Rica Hotel, Alta. Wonderful experience. Rooms a bit on the small side but very clean and well laid out. Extremely satisfied with Rica Hotel Alta who had beautiful modern rooms which were spotless clean. The service was really good. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Shopping and swimming pool nearby. If we come back to Alta, we will for sure stay here again. More

Nothing bad to say about this hotel. From the hotels you have literally just meters to a shopping mall and a public bath/swimming pool.
