We stayed for 3 nights and we just made all the short excursions to nearby places.The hotel was clean the room was ok with nothing luxurious.To be honest I expected something better for the room than what I found,fo a mercure hotel. Very welcoming. Very comfortable. Very good value for money! Have stayed here over the years and standards have never varied. Good with groups and individuals alike. Good location making for easy access to town centre and the beaches and battlefields.

- hard to find - rooms are very basic condition BT bathroom is modern - need satellite tv - french and German tv is not sufficient. One positive is its close to tram system and 15 mins into town centre on tram
