We stayed two nights at Crocodylus and were very happy there. The dwellings have wood floors, screened walls, and tarp roofs. The rooms were very clean, the sheets were fresh and new. The bunks were comfortable. The place is run by a couple and their son. They have a little restaurant serving three meals, and the food was really good.... More

We did not stay at Crocodylus but we booked a morning kayak trip from Crocodylus. Four other people cancelled at the last minute and we were concerned Steve would not go out with just the 2 of us. In the middle of the rain forrest, Crocodylus is a very nice place to stay. A lovely family helps you with everything and the food is good! Especially the "local bbq" on Sunday! More

What a brilliant week! Lovely canvas cabins surrounded by rainforest - the dorm rooms are small (only 4 beds), clean and comfortable. Sally and Steve (the hosts) are very friendly and helpful. Wonderful, serene location nestled right into the Daintree rainforest. There is a rainforest track accessible just a minute's walk from the accommodation/huts away from the usual tourist trails. Very clean accommodation, very friendly hosts - definitely recommend. I also joined the sunrise kayak adventure and it was unforgettable. More
