Stayed here last week for two nights for my 50th birthday. What can I say it was excellent, beautiful room and the best food I think I have possible tasted, the staff were attentive and very welcoming. Would I stay again oh yes as soon as possible!!

slick and professional service,good wine,yorkshire platter nice as was my partners burger,the only reason it hasnt got a 5 star is because the chocolate fondant dessert wasnt cooked long enough and was like eating a ramekin of chocolate sauce rather than a sponge with a meltingly soft velvety centre.many thanks and we shall return

Stayed here weekend of 10-11- 12 May as part of a Re-Union. Lovely clean hotel with good food and drink. Polite and friendly staff who seemed to be on a personal mission to make our stay enjoyable which they succeeded in doing. nicest hotel stay for ages.

Enjoyed spending 2 nights here in April. King size room had comfy bed, was clean and bathroom has spa bath and good selection of toiletries. Good very good - very generous on portions - and service relaxed but efficient. Good wine list and range of beers and whiskies. Would go back.
