We stayed in the surya sangolda after booking through sunmaster. The apart hotel is set within a little village outside of the main areas of calangute and baga. Although it was a little remote there is a supermarket nearby and 2 restaurants within easy walking distance. A taxi ride was 2-3 pounds to the busier areas. The apartments are a good base and quite centrally located to the main places and beaches. We hired a scooter for about £3-£4 per day to get around on directly from the hotel which was a excellent way of seeing Goa.
The apartments themselves were very spacious with all the mod cons exactly the same as shown in the photographs very modern and cleaned to a very high standard.
Nothing was too much trouble the level of service from the staff was more of a 5* than a 4* . The hotel manager Julian was excellent and advised us of all the right places to visit and made sure our every need was catered to.
