I needed an affordable hotel near the hospital and was referred here. I was warmly welcomed by he host shown to my beautiful room which was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The bed was a dream, the bathroom a joy to use and it was great to have some special downtime. The staff were very polite,helpful and pleasant.

They are still renovating/expanding the property; a reception is coming soon as well as some more rooms. We had 2 rooms in the main block above the reception/lounge. This is an unusual but fabulous hotel. Unusual because it is really more of an apartment - a standalone property without a reception/lobby etc. Fabulous because any assistance needed was just a phone call away, the room was spacious and extremely well-appointed and it was much easier to experience local life than being in a hotel that could be anywhere... Fantastic, large size room. Decor was unique. Great value with incredibly personable service from the owners. Rain shower was amazing. Only downside, the hotel does not yet have a reception. Tip, call the owners when you arrive in Chambery. They will come a.s.a.p. Also, parking is best at the nearby Chateau underground parking lot.
