On arrival the lady at the lobby greeted us with enthusiasm and explained how the hotel worked. Our room was very comfortable, we stayed in an executive room and had plenty of space. The bed was so cosy and wonderful, it was hard to get out of it some mornings! The room, including the bathroom, was spotlessly cleaned every day. The... More

This hotel has a great location and is situated on the shore, overlooking the Moray Firth and the North Sea in the village of Balintore. Hilton and Shandwick are on either side of Balintore making up the Seaboard Villages. The Royal Borough of Tain is only a short bus or car journey away, whilst Inverness and Dornoch are in easy... Perfection. The hotel is beautifully located by the waters edge with panoramic views across the Moray Firth in a peaceful and tranquil setting. It is ideally situated for touring and walking. The Hotel and area is very dog friendly. We had a most relaxing week stay. Our room was exceptional; comfortable, spacious, well appointed and with glorious views across the... More

My boyfriend and I have just spent a weekend at the idyllic ballintore hotel. Just footsteps from the waters edge, the location could not be better for soaking up all that the beautiful scottish highlands has to offer! The warm and friendly welcome from the propriorter and staff was carried through in the service throughout our entire stay. The rooms... More

I had a fantastic stay in the hotel. We spent time here on our honeymoon based on a friends recommendation. We couldn't have been happier with the hotel. The room was very spacious and super clean. It's a very warm, family-friendly place with a great vibe. We got to know the owners and the two other staff - very nice... More

This was our 3rd visit in just over a year and once again we weren't disappointed. Sharon, Adrian and the team were superb as usual. We ate in the restaurant every night and the food was first class. We were lucky enough to get the family room with the stunning sea view. We spent a couple of nights in other... More

The food was so good we had to come back the following day ! Very reasonably priced, a special board that changed daily and some of the nicest food we have ever eaten. The young waitress and waiter could not of been more helpfull and the sticky chicken meal was amazing. Very highly recommended, worth a detour to visit. More

Really enjoyed our 2 nights here. The family room sleeps four and is spacious. The beds were very comfortable and there was a fantastic view over the sea. Nice decor, very clean, friendly atmosphere - the couple who run it provided a great service, advising on local attractions and even lent us an Ordnance Survey map for the weekend. Breakfast... More
