Bwlch y Fedwen is a guest house that sets the standards high! Our room, plainly decorated and furnished, was spacious, bright, warm and comfortable with loads of storage and chairs to relax in. Alison has thought of just about everything a traveller could want and more! Guests have their own private entrance and secure cycle storage was provided. In the... More

This B&B is quite special. Having booked 4 nights for a family wedding we were treated to incredible hospitality and the breakfasts far beat any 5 star hotel anywhere in the world we have stayed. Alison the owner is so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our room Moel y Gest was beautiful and every little detail had been... More

I cannot praise this b&b enough. Bwlch-y-fedwen is top notch accommodation with such superior warmth and hospitality that it more than deserves its excellent reviews and recommendations. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left Alison was the perfect hostess. We stayed in the Glaslyn room which was beautiful, and Alison went out of her way to make... More

What a perfect place to stay for a short break. We spent four nights in Moel y Gest, a beautiful room with glorious views, and would have gladly stayed longer. Alison has created a peaceful haven and has thought of absolutely everything; a mini bottle of wine and mint humbugs, a delicious bar of chocolate and butter shortbreads. And along... More

We stayed 2 nights. It was very easy to find on the main road out of Porthmadog. Plenty of parking at the rear of the B & B. We stayed in the Glaslyn room, although given it's size and the bathroom with it a suite might be a more fitting description. Both rooms were spacious and the bathroom included a... More

Booking the bed & breakfast for 2 nights was straightforward and easy. We had the smaller double room, which had the longest bath! The breakfast and service were first class - we had plenty of choice from cereals to a cooked breakfast or scrambled egg and smoked salmon. Alison was marvelous and very attentative. Yes, there was even a small... More

What a find ! The attention to detail was exceptional. In our very comfy and spacious room we were greeted with fresh milk for our tea, biscuits, teas etc, mint humbugs and even a small bottle of wine! Breakfast included every treat we could think of and really didn't need to eat for the rest of the day! Alison made... More

My husband and I spent 4 nights at this lovely B & B. The setting is beautiful, and Alison couldn't have been nicer. She recommended different sites to see and restaurants to patronize. She has great detailed maps of the area we borrowed each day for our trips through Snowdonia and over to the LLeyn Peninsula. Breakfast was scrumptious... tons... More
