Only spent one night here - was cycling The Way of The Roses. Would have definitely spent another day here just to relax but sadly it was fully booked. One of the nicest places I have stayed in and will definitely return. Lovely setting, fresh clean accomodation and made to feel very welcome . . . More

I have used several B&Bs in the York area for business, and I will contact this one first from now on. Clean and comfortable with a breakfast to set you up for the day. Great value for money. More

Terry made us feel very welcome she told us of a good place to eat out in the evening. She also had very good Knowledge of things to do and visit in the area and how to use the park & ride service to York. The B&B was spotless and if you needed anything they where only to please to... More

Spent three nights here in the Paddock room with my best friend. A lovely room & great for my wheelchair. Nice & private, looking out over the paddock with the animals. The wetroom was nice and safe for me to use alone - which I REALLY appreciate, and there's a little fridge to stock up for when the munchies strike!!... More

Perfect little get away, peaceful location, great warm service- brilliant! The kids loved the animals and the space they had to run around in. Nice communal area, great for listening to the rain!! Will definately come again- excellent. More

This is a superior B&B. The room (The Paddock) was ideal for 2 friends sharing but could also be changed to accomodate four. It had good facilities for a wheel chair user, including a wet room, and Terry is obviously very aware of problems for the disabled and does everything possible to accomodate her guest's needs. Breakfast was great for... More

We stayed in the paddock twin which had lovely view of this pretty setting, and excellent disabled facilities. The owner was very friendly and helpful, all furnishings to a high standard, the breakfast was superb. We would have liked more time to explore the pretty garden so will return. More

We had a fantastic four night stay which started with a very warm welcome from Terry on arrival. We chose the Garden room for our stay as we were traveling with our 12 year old daughter. The room was very clean, beautifully decorated and had a very spacious ensuite bathroom which was well stocked with towels and cleaned every day. Our... More

A fantastic and friendly, well run B&B. You are made to feel welcome and at home. The rooms are very clean and well stocked with the added bonus of having a fridge. The choice at breakfast was fantastic. There were 7 of us in our party, which included our 3 children, who all loved everything about the B&B. Its position... More

As a family of 4 with 2 boys under the age of 5 it is always tricky finding a B & B with a warm family welcome and Fifth Milestone certainly provided that. We had the garden room which was luxurious and we were welcomed with a suprise complimentary bottle of bubbly. The owner went our of her way to... More
