We only stayed for one night at the Black Orchid, but we loved our stay. Rooms are clean, but pretty basic. 1) Free airport pickup. This was actually a big factor for us in picking a location. With 3 young boys in tow, it is not easy to find places where they can run free and enjoy nature in an environment that is comfortable, beautiful and has great service... We stayed here for 2 nights. It was a great resort that was not too far form the airport and was along the route to go to most of the different excursions. Very clean rooms and great food. I have been to Belize 8 times in less than 4 years. All but one of those times I stayed at the Black Orchid.
