We chanced upon this B&B - it's about the last one on the road to the Aran Island ferries from Doolin. We cosidered it a key Find of our trip. The owners treated us like cousins, and we had a great chat with them one evening. We enjoyed the huge and sunny living room and conservatory available for guests' use,... More

Rita and Patrick's place is just up the street from O'Conner's Pub, you can walk downtown (which is a small town in Doolin). It is quiet and very comfortable. I had my 83 year old mother with me and we were treated just like family. They wouldn't let us take our luggage to the room (they got it there for... More

A group of 6 of us were traveling in Western Ireland and decided to stay in Doolin due to it's great access to the area both by ground and ferry. Ended up at the Pairc Lodge B&B, where we were kindly received by Rita, the hostess. The place is conveniently located near some popular pubs, and at a short walk... More

We stayed in Pairc Lodge in July 2010 and was greeted by owners daughter.Room was clean and airy with nice decor.Full irish breakfast was A1.Its location is near O Connor's pub where food was ok and bar staff friendly. There were other pubs further up the road but time was against us.Doolin is a nice area to visit and we will... After a week Connemara adventures we decided to explore the Burren. Late in the evening we arrived in Doolin, looking for some accommodation for our last 2 nights in Ireland. Pairc Lodge was 'the place to be'. Ideal location for pub and restaurant facilities in Doolin. Wonderful sunset views in the harbour (not far from the B&B). Great walk possibilities... More

This B&B is centrally located just minutes from the village center and a very short drive to the Doolin docks (for your departure to the Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher). The room was large and comfortable but lacked a TV (which was fine by us) and in-room coffee-tea amenities (which would have been appreciated). The shower was small... More

Myself and my friend chose Doolin for our annual weekend pilgrimage to Ireland. And what a choice. Rita and Pat were amazing hosts who were welcoming, helpful, chatty, cheery, and offered more than just a warm and family host as B & B proprietors. The house is very well situated with a 10 min walk to the ferry (& views... More

I was looking for another b&b in Doolin and I spotted a response to my posting about Pairc Lodge. Just to clarify. We were not met by one of the owner's children but a half-naked 20 year old Eastern Europen girl. I am Irish and I'm pretty sure this is not one of our traditions. You might not be bothered... More

I was a bit surprise at seeing such a bad review about Pairc Lodge here. I actually found amusing some of the things the previous reviewer takes as annoying, but that's something personal of course. For instance, we were received by one of the owners' children too, but I find this cute rather than abusive or unfriendly. Interestingly, this same... More
