We were referred to the Churchfield B&B by Maurice, Quayside B&B in Dingle. It was an outstanding recommendation and we were very impressed with the Churchfield B&B, the comfortable rooms, sitting area, and its location. But most of all, we enjoyed Maeve Fitzgerald's company and her delicious breakfast. Maeve provided recommendations on the local pubs and had such a pleasant... More

We spent 2 nights at Churchfield B&B in early March. We arrived a little earlier than expected and Maeve had our rooms ready and waiting. We had just spent about 15 hours on planes, in airports and driving from Shannon. We arrived in Doolin around 10 am. Maeve insisted we should rest a few hours before exploring the area. She... More

My sister, father and I had the opportunity to stay at Churchfield B&B in early March, and can't wait to go back. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was excellent. There are several pubs within easy walking distance, and lots of attractions are just a short drive away. Maeve was always available to answer our questions and... More

We always stay at Churchfield on our annual trips to Doolin. Great location, lovely breakfast and fabulous host - it's because of Maeve we always return. Usually go with friends or my partner but have stayed on my own and felt just as relaxed and welcomed. So much competition in the area and now hotels but she is usually full... More

We were referred to Churchfield by a B&B hostess in Galway and were very pleased. Lovely home and a short walk across the street from a great pub with good food and traditional music. Also convenient for ferry to Aran Islands. The combo island/Cliffs of Moher trip worth every penny. Would definitely stay here again.

Maeve answered the doorbell and we became a part of her family! We played cards and listened to music in the upstairs parlor, took her advice on sightseeing and pubbing. We greeted the day fortified by the best breakfast of our vacation. Maeve, you are a dear. Thank you!

We dropped in the town of Doolin and someone suggested the Churchfield B&B. Great suggestion! The rooms were wonderful, clean, and bright. Breakfast was delicious. Maeve was great. And nearby pubs (McGanns, in particular), was a five-minute walk. (Definitely check out the pubs for the music.) The only slight downside was that the wifi didn't reach into the bedrooms. However,... As frequent visitors to Ireland it wouldn't be complete without staying with Maeve at Churchfield. Maeve is always incredibly welcoming and hospitable. Perfect location in the village of Doolin with restaurants, pubs and beautiful sights nearby. Extremely comfortable, utterly clean rooms and a delicious breakfast cooked to order by Maeve will leave you totally satisfied. Entering Churchfield with Maeve's warm,... More

This B&B was recommended by a friend who had visited many years ago and my husband and I were not disappointed. Maeve was awesome, very warm and accomodating. The B&B location is ideally situated near a couple of pubs, one of which had great live Irish music the night we were there.

This was our 3rd time staying at Churchfield and we have never been disappointed! Maeve serves a delicious breakfast, and the accommodations are great. We stayed in the same room this time as we did when we stayed with her in 2005, a large room as comfortable as we remembered it and beautifully updated since then, we could really tell... More
