We made a reservation thru email with prompt response from Ashbrook. We did confirm the reservation a few weeks before our trip also. We got to Ashbrook Lodge after several wrong turns and were led there by two nice, local young men. The thing to remember when looking for Ashbrook is get directions in advance. That way you won't be... More

What a wonderful atmosphere and most enjoyable place to stay. Olywn our hostess made sure we were comfortable and attended to all our needs. This is a wonderful family home and if you have a family I would recommend this place. We hope to return here in the near future. D&G More

Janet & I had a wonderful time in and around Ireland. Ashbrook Lodge is very comfortable and in a very beautiful location. The room was spotless the breakfast very satisfying with lots of choice. Olwyn , well what can we say---we just do not know how you manage to keep the whole house so prestine, especially having to care for... More

This has to be the best B&B my wife and I have stayed in. The house is lovely inside and out. The rooms are spacious and absolutely spotless - en suite was sparkling. Olwyn is such a lovely host and is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was something to look forward to, and there was a wide choice . The... More

We had a great 2 night stay at Ashbrook Lodge. Our room was spacious, very clean and had a large comfy bed. It had a lovely sea view and was decorated very tastefully, in fact, the whole house is really nice fitted out and looked like it had been recently decorated (my wife came away with a disappointing number of... On our third trip to Ireland we had the great fortune to stay at Ashbrook on July 7th, our first evening. Our room was beautiful and we had a wonderful view of the water. Olwyn was the epitome of Irish charm and hospitality. We had a marvelous breakfast and even though jet lagged, we smiled broadly knowing this was a... More

This house is very nice. It was a bit further from the water then I had imagined, and it is a nice walk down a dark country road to get to town. The room was LARGE and comfortable and CLEAN. very nicely decorated. The only downside was that the hostess has 3 little boys. They would intterupt breakfast in their... More

Having never received a negative comment about our home or our family in 8 years of having guests it is with regret and huge disappointment I feel I have to respond to these comments. I take great pride in my family, our rooms and our home so it is very important to me to hear that you were happy with... More

Huge, plush room with a gorgeous view of the Atlantic. This made a wonderfully luxurious base camp from which to explore The Burren, Cliffs of Moher and wonderful traditional music. More
