i stayed in this accommodation with a few friends and all 6 of us had such a wonderful time ! on arrival we were greeted by a very friendly man who gave us all the information about bus times, boat times to the island etc. Our room was basic and simple, perfect for a weekend stay! September 2011. Also, stayed here in March 2007. This was my second vacation to Ireland and the second time I stayed at this hostel. It's in a great location on Fisher Street. Walking distance to the little shops and O'Connors Pub. We parked at the hostel and walked everywhere. It's also only a 5 minute drive to the Cliffs of... More

-on arrival there was no one in the office and we had to wait half an hour for someone to appear and sort out our booking meanwhile having to ask other hostel guests where the toilet was for my elderly father to use after a long trip. -when finalising our booking wasnting to pay for our accommodation, we were told... We apologise we could not meet the guests expectations. We are not perfect but we pride ourselves on cleanliness and friendliness. So called “rude staff” member is the kindest and friendliest gentleman you will ever meet, please see other reviews. Cleanliness is always rated highly in reviews prior and after they stayed. We do not have bed bugs and the... More

Had a great stay at Paddys Doolin Hostel, Myself, my wife and two kids had a private room which had 4 beds and private bathroom and shower. Normally don't stay in a hostel but as the weather was unpredictable we decided last minute to stay at Paddys, instead of going camping. We were not disappointed, the hostel was very clean,... More

Paddy's was absolutely amazing. David was without a doubt the friendliest person we met on the entire trip and was so incredibly helpful to us. He was there to greet us at the door, drew us a map, and had fresh scones ready in the morning. He really remembered everyone and made us feel welcome at all times. The area... More

We were two backpackers doing Ireland, and we heard about this place from other backpackers we met on the way. We were checked in by David, one of the friendliest people we ever met in Ireland. Clean rooms, cool and relaxing common room, wonderful location right at the beginning of cliffs of moher and the town of doolin. Great place... More

This hostel is great! It's in s prime location that is within 1km of the Aran Islands ferry, Doolin Centre, and a very short drive from the Cliffs of Moher. The price of the hostel was very reasonable , the rooms clean and fair sized, and had a brilliant view of all of Doolin . More

If you're looking for a romantic getaway this is not the place. Rooms are basic and the bed could use replacing. David the manager is quite helpful though. Not as close to the Clffs of Moher as stated in the website. The site said 300 yards, when it is more like 3 miles. The town is nice but if I... More

My husband and I loved staying at Paddy's, in fact we added a couple of days onto our stay. David was an incredibly attentive host, very informative about the area, and so much fun to talk with. And oh my, those scones he makes!! I'd go back just to see him again! The hostel itself was very comfortable, and in... More
