For us Aroko fits with Rarotonga. The place is clean and simply furnished with the essentials. Sure there are other "upscale" resorts with a better beach (some at double the cost) however this location is great, offering some separation from the hotels yet within a 5-10 minute walk of everything from coffee/internet to sand/restaurants.
