I spent 4 days in Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge at the end of April with my 7 years old son, my husband and another couple. Regarding the hotel itsself, it´s a really great place. The rooms are big enough even for a double bed + extra single, nicely decorated and with A/C, fan and a small fridge - the bathroom could... More

I spent 4 days and 3 nights there in May 2012 Best (Only?) way to reach there is to have them pick you up from Manaus - at the airport or any hotel. Its a 2.5 hour ride. They are right on the edge of the river. When you reach they give you a printed agenda for your entire stay.... More

We went last month for a 5 days 4 night experience. We thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel is fantastic. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, food is good. But what really stands out is the staff - very helpful and the guides - really knowledgeable and friendly. Because the guide are local people they really show and tell you a lot... More

The only way I could get my wife into the Amazon was if we stayed at a place as nice as this. I think it strikes the perfect balance between personal comfort and the nature of the destination. By myself I would have found a place where the hiking and canoeing was more challenging, Yet, this experience was still quite... More

Glad I chose this place! The staff and guides (Krishnar and Leandro) are all friendly and knowledgable. It was my first trip to the Amazon and there are two trips planned a day which are varied and really enjoyable. As I went during low season, I was able to go on the night boat trip again which was great! All... More

The 3 hour drive to the lodge is tiresome but worth it when you get there. The staff are very hospitable and the guides are great. The cabins are basic but good and clean. There are suffient activities 2/3 times a day to keep you occupied without ever being stretched. Food is served buffet style on an all you can... More

The stay was just amazing. I stayed 5 nights (without mosquitos) and enjoyed every minute. The lodge team and the guides are more than helpful, friendly and experienced. Me as well as all the other guests had the chance to see the Anavilhanas Archipelago during the "winter time" i.e. the Rio Negro had flood water and the river banks were... More

The lodge is a 3 hour drive from Manaus. The rooms are comfortable, but it is best to bring your own toiletries. There is AC in the room. The reception area is large and has a nice lounge area. There is a cash bar at the reception area. Overall the place is very clean. The dining area is not fancy... More

We loved it! We traveled for only 3 days (and we regret not making it longer) and we had the best time! The lodge is 3 hrs by car away from Manaus. As soon as you get there someone is presenting you the lodge and the schedule for the trip. The schedule was quite tight for us, given that we... More

We stayed here for a week of our honeymoon and had the most amazing time. We opted to splash out and booked the seaplane arrival which although expensive is well worth saving up for, you get the most spectacular views of the Amazon river and rainforest and get a feel for just how vast it is and how secluded the...
