Attended wedding, ballroom was so cold and manager completely uninterested and unhelpful. We booked into the hotel for two nights,we were attending a wedding at nearby Dromoland Castle,reasonable room rates,but do not be fooled by that,as it is a run down dirty hotel,our friends stayed at a bed and breakfast just down the road, ferguslodge, and their stay was 5* compared to ours. more

Payed way more than one would expect for dirty small room. Had to have one bed removed to accomadate travel cot for our kid. The dirt on the floor hidden under the bed was unbelievable. Stayed here 2 years ago,our room was bigger then the one we got in west county this year and cleaner and we found the staff here to be very helpful..A lot families stay here so be prepared for a lot of children running around..basic hotel but it was good value for what we got more
