Our golfing group stayed with Mary and James and would highly recommend the 19th Lodge to anyone thinking of staying in Ballybunion. The rooms were fantastic, the food was excellent and Mary and James made us feel like royalty!!! By far the best place I've stayed in the south of Ireland, we would definately go back!! Just stayed for 1 night but Mary and her whole family made us feel so welcome. Couldn't do too much for us - and a big thanks for sorting out the babysitting! We had the Woosnan suite which had a big room with views of the golf course. The bathroom had underfloor heating and a jacuzzi bath and separate shower.

James and Mary were great hosts and thought it was the perfect place to stay if going to play Ballybunion. The rooms especially the bathroom were updated and very good. Playing 36 a day makes it important to have excellant bathroom amenities. The breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip and Mary made anything we wanted.... More
