Penny's hospitality combined with a spotless, lovely and comfortable home made for a marvelous end to our Ireland holiday. We stayed two nights at Dunaree. I'm hoping that I got special treatment, just because I'm special, (wink, wink) but I have a strong feeling that Penny connects with and treats each and every guest in a warm and accomodating manner.... more

A colleague of my wife had stayed at Dunaree in November and he recommended it as a great place to stay before flying out of Shannon, as the facilities were very nice and location was convenient to the airport. The house is very well maintained and Penny is extremely friendly and accommodating. She made a great recommendation for dinner, and... more

Dunaree is located within walking distance of Bunratty Castle in a beautiful, rural area. The view from our front-facing room was of meadows and mountains. The house is very nice, and Penny O'Connor, the owner, is a warm and welcoming lady. She's also an excellent cook! more

My husband and I just returned from 10 days in Ireland and spent out last 2 nights at Dunaree. When you pull into the driveway, you'll be impressed with this beautiful home, but it gets even better when you walk inside. Penny is such a warm person. The greeting was so genuine, we felt comfortable right away. Then she said... more

We spent five of our thirteen nights at Dunaree. Penny made reservations for us on tours, Banquets at the castle and also got us a cab for the airport when we had to leave. In the evening she found out what we wanted for breakfast and what time we wanted to eat. Our room was great and we felt like... more

For our first day in Ireland, Penny and Dennis made us feel very welcome. If you need a quite, local place near Bunratty, this is it. Beautiful and a minimum of fuss. When we come back, we will stay here again. more

Beautiful home! Penny was such a great hostess! She made us feel welcome as soon as we knocked on her door. The room was clean, the bed linens soft and luxurious! She went to the trouble to make us homemade scones (delicious!). Would definitely recommend! more

This was the nicest B&B we stayed at. The place was beautifully decorated, extremely clean and the food and hospitality the best we experienced on our trip. We would recommend this spot to anyone traveling in the Bunratty area. more

Dunaree was by far the most perfect B & B of our entire 9 night stay in Ireland. The B & B is immaculate, light and bright. House feels brand new, yet warm and inviting. Penny made us feel so welcome. She made fresh scones at 9pm the night before we left. Refrigerator in guest lounge was stocked with beverages,... more
