My family and two friends - 8 in total - only intended to stay one night on our trip to Ireland (July '11) but were so well taken care of by Paddy and Maureen, so impressed with the quality of the accomodations and enjoyed the sumptous breakfasts so much that we stayed an extra three nights. In future when we... More

Good place to stay when going to the folk park and castle. Very easy to find from the directions posted. She was nice enough, not overally like most Irish ladies who run B and B's.Even though she let us leave our bags in our room 4 hours early. The room was clean and comfy, the breakfast was full and good. There... More

When we arrived at the B & B, no one was there. We had a reservation so she should have known not to be gone for too long. After trying the bell several times their son-in-law happened by and came up. He let us in and after checking to see what room we were assigned, he left. About an hour... More

We felt "taken," particularly because this B and B was recommended by Fodor's. Times are hard for Irish Band Bs in terms of lack of business - so even more reason for the hostess to take care of her property and guests. 1) Dirty - globs of black hair in the shower and sink. Gross. Dust throughout the bathroom and... More

The hotel is close to Shannon Airport. It is a little hard to find if you don't have a map and just wrote down the directions. It's on Lower Rd which is not low at all. It's actually up the road between Bunratty Castle and Dirty Nellys pub. We didn't eat the breakfast there but it smelled good. The room... More

Arriving in heavy rain did not show the hotel at its best but we were quickly booked in and shown to our room. The room was very comfortable and furnished in a traditional way. There was no tea or coffee facilities in the room but that's maybe our fault as we did not ask . The bathroom was roomy and... More

While driving extensively through the UK we stopped over for the Medieval Banquet at Bunratty Castle and Bunratty Woods was a perfect choice for our stay. The B&B is within walking distance of Durty Nelly's and Bunratty Castle. The WiFi is good, the breakfast was self serve and very good, the rooms were adequate and the staff was very helpful... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in this B&B for one night and loved it! The place was decorated so charmingly and cozy. The room was small (as was the bathroom) but sooo romantic! It's right down the road from the best little Irish pub 'The Creamery Bar'. We had the best Irish breakfast right downstairs and everyone was so friendly!... More

This was our first time at a B&B so I do not have anything to compare it to but we were very pleasantly surprised at the accomodations. My husband and I and our daughter chose this B&B for its close proximity to Bunratty Castle and Shannon. The room was extremely clean and perfectly adequate for our overnight stay. Loved it... More
