My wife, my kids and myself went to spend one week in Killeshandra and stayed in a lovely country cottage in the Castlehamilton Courtyard. We had a very good week, the area is very charming and beautiful. We met Alan and Audrey, the owners and they looked after us very well. They couldn't do more! We would like to thank... More

This was my first time in Ireland, and I was sincerely impressed by the warm welcome of the owners. Our accomodation was excellent, everything clean and comfortable, and I really enjoyed my stay. A great place to go. More

There are two things that make this holiday special for us. First is the superb cottage courtyard with its old stone buildings and comfortable apartments, set in the grounds of an old stately home (now long gone, but the beautiful parkland remains). The second is the friendliness of the owners Alan and Audrey, who make you feel welcome and ensure... More

This was our second visit to Castlehamilton, and it was even better than the first, as the games room was completed. Ideal for those who want to play games, or just relax with a magazine. Location fantastic, right in the village, yet in acres of ground, with its own lake for boating or fishing. The houses themselves are very spacious,... More

I highly recommend staying at Castlehamilton. This 17th century self-catering holiday retreat (with all the modern amenities) exceeded our expectations. The owners, Alan and Audrey, were absolutely genuine in their concern and efforts to ensure our holiday was everything we wanted it to be. This hidden gem in the Lakeland district is surrounded by nature at its best; with the... More
