My wife and I recently returned from Ireland and a stay at Cappabhaile House. I can't say enough about Conor and his wife Margaret. The room that we occupied faced the Burren and was quite large and roomy and generously appointed. Accomodations contained a double and single (with double easily large enough to accomodate two people) . The bathroom was... more

Stayed here for three nights with my husband and 13yr son. We really enjoyed our stay and the helpful information given about the area by Conor and Margaret. The pool table in the games room was a big hit with my husband and son . The breakfast was excellent , kept us going all day. The weather wasn't great when... more

We've traveled throughout Ireland over the years and have found our new favorite. The spacious room & beds exceeded our expectations. My wife particularly enjoyed the large bathroom & bath for the kids. That said, it was the hospitality, music and laughter that made the experience most memorable. After mentioning how we love Irish music at dinner, our host Conor... more

Enjoyed this wonderful B&B. Great location with comfortable, clean, well furnished rooms with king size beds and huge bathrooms. Classic decor throughout accentuated by tasteful photographs along the hallway. The wonderful owners, Margaret and Conor, are very hospitable and serve a fantastic breakfast spread with tons of food. Not to mention, its great location in the heart of the Burrens.... more

This B&B has a lot going for it. The rooms are spacious & clean. Margaret & Conor are the perfect hosts. Prepare to be hungry because the breakfasts are ample. Our room overlooked a beautiful pasture and mountains in the background. A great location to explore the Burren. We just wished we had enough time to sit and talk to... more

My mother and I spent about three weeks in Ireland total, and our time at the Cappabhaile House in Ballyvaughan was a highlight. While it's not immediately in town, it was a fantastic jumping off point for our drives all around County Clare and beyond, from the Cliffs of Moher to Coole Park to exploring the back roads of the... more

Perfect B&B our room was huge and comfortable with a great large bath. The tea service which many B&B 's have stopped was wonderful and we enjoyed looking at the Burren from comfortable chairs with tea and biscuits. Conor sang and played that evening. He is a talented musician and singer and truly loves Ireland and especially County Clare. His... more

When we asked our kids what their favorite part of the trip to Ireland was, they unanimously yelled "Cappabhaile House." Ok, they couldn't say that, but they did say the B&B we stayed in when we were visiting the burren. Not only were the facilities outstanding, but what made this especially great was the owner, Conor, who was extremely friendly... more

The house itself was spacious, with great views of the Burren landscape all around. Beautifully decorated with local photography. Room was large and very clean, with a seating area with tea/coffee making amenities. The breakfast was outstanding, maybe the best my wife and I had on our 18-day voyage - Conor made the portions big and fresh. Its a 5... more

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Cappabhaile House when we visited the Burren. Our room was a bit dark and retro but spacious. Conor and Margaret are wonderful and helpful hosts. Our first moning I saw a fellow guest photographing his breakfast and I was wondering why. I soon found out why.....they serve the largest breakfast I think I... more
