Stayed here before for a wedding. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. Location is super and as the sun was shining the view was stunning. Enjoyed my stay at the Eccles hotel on a Newmarket Holiday trip. Ful Irish Breakfast is very good with all the trimmings plus great choice of cereals. Stayed one night on a whistle stop tour of lower Ireland. Probably should have stayed in Bantry but not too bad. Faded elegance. Kind staff. Clean rooms comfortable beds. Good shower. Ate in town so can't tell you about the food.

Attended my nieces wedding yesterday. The rooms were booked in the Eccles Hotels were booked and the reception was also in the Eccles hotel. The staff were very obliging and helpful. Great location people are really friendly food is very good will be going back again this summer with the kids of all the hotels in the region we would choose Glengarriff Eccles again,the weather was not good for the ferry but the man running it would brighten anyone's spirit we will bring the kids out to garnish island next time
