If you are looking for a friendly, clean, and relaxing place to stay in the Irish countryside, this is it. Helen O'Brien couldn't be more welcoming and serves the best in Irish breakfast. We have stayed here as a family on several occasions and traveled extensively in Ireland and Europe, and nowhere have we felt more comfortable.

St. Ruth's is about a ten minute drive from Athlone on a winding country road. Helen, the proprietress, is an absolute bundle of friendly energy.
