The POW was the prefect base for our pike angling group with the town entertainment on the doorstep. Everyone admired their welcoming attitude and willingness to look after (us) their guests. We stayed four nights in the hotel and bedrooms were immaculate and at really value-for-money. Well done and see you again next April.

This hotel is right in the town centre with free parking. The room was very nice and spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed and amazing shower. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

I used the hotel for a recent company conference, the facilities were ideal, staff were very helpful with the audio visual setup - lunch in the bar was excellent & it was great value for the venue, food & drinks. Will definitely use again

Stayed in Prince of Wales Hotel in Athlone for one night, f ood was good, room was lovely - wonderful shower, entertainment was wonderful - battle of the bands was on, some really good rock and roll -staff were really nice, especially bar manager, thanks for the Harvey Wallbangers - Lovely - would definately stay there again

We stayed here our first night in Ireland. Everything about the Prince of Wales was easy. The parking lot behind the hotel was convenient, the hotel location was wonderful and the staff very friendly.
