Stayed here two nights to experience dinner (twice) and breakfast. Great location for exploring The Burren, Cliffs of Moher and Doolin Cave. The Wild Honey Inn is super comfortable, warm and cosy, the best food, Dover Sole - amazing, confit of duck - generous and tasty, fish & chips - the best I have ever had! The omelette for breakfast... More

Stayed here for a weekend last year. Really lovely place to stay, nice rooms, friendly owners and staff and top class food. We did Burren walks during the day and then dined in the bar both evenings. Casual dining at its best. The residents sitting room was out of action when we stayed, due to redecorating I think, which was... More

My family and I stayed at the wild honey inn last weekend. From start to finish we had a very enjoyable stay. Our room was nice and cosy with quirky furniture. Food was fantastic, you could feel the love put into the cooking by Aidan and his team. Kids loved the children's menu available. Kate and her team made you... More

Absolutely delicious!! It was a cold windy evening in February and we were welcomed by a cosy restaurant with a big open fire. We would loved to have stayed and have drinks for the evening but we were on route home. To start with we had the Black Pudding & Foie Gras Terrine....there was pleanty for two - it was... More

We had wanted to visit Wild Honey Inn for quite a while and booked for their first weekend after their winter break. Having read the reviews below I think some are a little harsh. Yes, there is not someone on reception at all times but Kate is never far away and the rooms are not pure luxury but nicely decorated... More

My young family & I had dinner here over Cristmas & while the food & atmosphere would be hard to beat, the service was a bit of a let-down. That said, I was willing to come back a few days later for some more of their delicious food but it was closed for the New Year!

We were traveling in Ireland and stopped there for a night and the dinner. It was so good and very different. Owners were such warm people and they visibly love what they do. The food was fantastic (and I am very picky and experienced in this). Breakfast was also very delicious. The place is very cozy. I would love such... More

Two starters, two mains, two desserts and two wines for 78 euro and the food was fab! Lovely setting and great service. Best meal out in a long time. Quite a find in the is of the wilds of the Burren.

Everything about this was wonderful. Our spacious room overlooked the garden. Breakfasts were scrumptious. Location just outside of the village was perfect, quiet but convenient. The sitting room was decorated perfectly. Kate was extremely friendly and helped us plan our day. The restaurant earned 5 stars for us, pub food priced but gourmet in presentation and preparation. Loved the whole... More
