This place is a dream. If you want a quiet and peaceful vacation, you've found it. You can spend hours enjoying the sun outdoors, taking long walks on the manicured grounds or surrounding neighborhood or just relaxing indoors in the library or your comfortable and beautifully decorated room. Breed is a warm and friendly hostess and she fed me well... More

We traveled to Ireland to attend the Notre Dame versus Navy Football Game and then stayed three more weeks. Ballyduff House was our second stay and we both found the entire experience wonderful. My wife, Susan, has told everyone who asks about our trip, that Ballyduff House was her favorite spot to stay in all of Ireland. Breda, the host... More

We stayed at Ballyduff for one night. The room was huge and so comfortable. Our breakfast was amazing. My favorite part was the amazing smell of the perfect linens- so fresh and clean! This would be an amazing place to have a wedding or family reunion.

I recently organised a horse riding weekend near Thomastown (20th and 21st of October). Ballyduff House is a beautiful Manor, and was like a home away from home for my seven guests who travelled from as far away as Cork and Dublin. Brede made them feel so very welcome, I can't thank her enough. We had originally planned to go... More

Charming 300 year old house with large comfortable rooms and cozy furnishings. Lovely hostess who provided everything we needed. Enjoyed the evening by the open fire in the fantastic library with its bookshelf door. Nice expansive grounds by a river. Driving directions on the website were good, which is important as there were no signs identifying the property. Ballyduff House... More
