We stayed at the Top of the Hill last week, its a great hostel, we booked the family room. It was lovely and clean, bright and welcoming. The bathrooms were in very good condition for a hostel. The beds were comfy and the host very welcoming. I was impressed and we would definitely stay again.

I would not advise anyone to stay here. The warden seems to have either no idea how to run a decent hostel or no interest in doing so. The kitchen is dirty, scarcely equipped - only the cat is happy there. Avoid unless there is absolutely no alternative.
